Wine Tasting in Paris

I went to Paris last week and attended a great Wine Tasting.

Ô Chateau offers a memorable Wine Tasting Experience to Paris visitors.
We've been provided with outstanding wines and great tips.

The Tasting is given by a French connoisseur... in English.

Friendly atmosphere and willingness to focus on pleasure made this tasting so unique. Nothing like I've experienced before. Both instructive and fun!!
Probably the best way to learn and enjoy wine in Paris!!

If you like "le bon vin français", just go for it!!

They have launched the activity recently and need publicity: go check out their website at www.o-chateau.com

Cheers,

Scott

Hi Scott,

You seem to have a wonderful experience when you went to Paris. I would love to participate on that kind gathering as well. Sad to say, I just haven't find time to attend a wine tasting yet. I was about to go the last time but then there was an important meeting that I had to attend. Traveling is not about leisure, most of the time it is about business related.

This can be intimidating for foreigner. In spite of hundreds of places, wine bars, bistrots that have a good selections of wines available at easy reach in Paris, many tourists leave without experiencing this typical french treat. Sometime they fear not to be understood , or because they think they don't know enough about wine, or just by timidity, foreigners do without sampling the extremely diverse french wines.

Hello
Serviced with talent by Ô Chateau, you will discover a different vision of wine, based on pleasure and fun. Wine is to be shared with the persons you care for: your significant other, your family or your friends. To make wine in general and French wine in particular more understandable for everyone, you will have the opportunity to taste and learn about some outstanding French wines. You will bring back home what you will have learned during the tasting with a very down-to-earth approach: you will benefit from useful tips on how to serve, choose it, store and appreciate wine. All wine tastings come with:
  • Great selected French wines
  • A nice selection of French breads
  • Wine tasting material
  • Presentation in English by a French sommelier
  • The Ô Chateau's cheat sheet listing useful tips and info
  • The list of the wines tasted
Wine tasting will take place in an authentic cellar under Paris. This is an exceptional venue which was used to be the King Louis XV sommelier’s cellar! Scenic and authentic. This venue has a lot of personality and the decor has been recently restored to fit a high standard of comfort. Very close to the Louvre museum, this historical site is the perfect setting for a sensorial journey into France’s treasures. All details about exact location will be listed on your voucher issued online.

That is possible in any expensive restaurant or cave but best really is to go a wine producer directly (alsace or Bourgogne or Bordeaux.
