The American Express® International Dollar Platinum Card

I came across the The American Express® International Dollar Platinum Card and am very interested. Does anyone hold this card?

I carry The Platinum Card, but this one is slightly different. At $100 more a year ($400/yr total), it allows you to have a second Platinum card for yourself (to separate business/personal expenses), along with five supplemental cards.

Best of all, it seems to include a copmlimentary membership to Priority Pass, which offers "over 300" clubs in addition to the regular Plat benefit of CO/NW club access.

Any experience with this? It looks very attractive.

I called the Platinum concierge line and got the details on this card. It's only available to cardholders in Mexico and Puerto Rico. The concierge rep was unable to find any information which went into more detail on the "access to 300 airport clubs" statement from the URL you pasted. She said she'd have to transfer me to their puerto rico call center for that info, which I declined.

She did say she'd log my feedback that I was keenly interested in airport club membership as one of the more important features I enjoyed from my Platinum card. Not sure how much weight that carries. She was also suprisingly forthcoming about the existence and details of the Centurion Card product.

The last footnote on the page that I linked to reads, "These services are only available to UK residents and UK nationals residing outside the UK." so it seems like everyone but Americans get this benefit from American Express.

Perhaps dbaker should return his map if it only has the UK, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the US.
