I think the beaches in the south are much nicer than the ones in Pattaya/Jomtein.

Kuta Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Bali Island, Indonesia offers many adventures to experience. You can dive, paragliding, surfing, etc and enjoy the romantic view there. The water is clear and the sand is soft. It's a nice beach to enjoy.
