You can try visiting Australia. It offers lots of great beaches including Bondi, Bell, Palm, Tamarama, Manly and Congee Beach.

In the Maldives, we enjoyed every minute of the wonderful peacefulness of a group of islands that are literally in the middle of nowhere. And each island is home to a resort - at least the small islands. Talk about feeling isolate and remote! But God has had His handiwork in these island that are a must-see if you are a beach lover.

"best beaches" is a term so subjective because of the different types available, their locations and accessibility and there are literally 1000's to explore. Here's a list from an "expert" who has been rating USA beaches for many years and he is well-respected for his opinions... His ranking of U.S. beaches 1. Caladesi Island State Park in Dunedin, Florida takes the top spot. Dr. Beach, aka Florida International University professor Stephen P. Leatherman, rates the beaches by 50 criteria. The rest of the Top 10 are: 2) Hanalei Beach in Kauai, Hawaii (pictured) 3) Siesta Beach in Sarasota, Florida 4) Coopers Beach in Southampton, New York 5) Coronado Beach in San Diego, California 6) Main Beach in East Hampton, New York 7) Hamoa Beach in Maui, Hawaii ![]() 9) Cape Florida State Park in Key Biscayne, Florida 10) Kiawah Island in South Carolina |

My favorite beaches so far have been in mexico. Of all the ones I have visited I would recommend puerto escondido (in the state of oaxaca). It was absolutely gorgeous and had such a cool atmosphere. And of course puerto vallarta is always a nice beach, a very popular destination.

| Thailand has lots of beautiful beach. There is always a variety on each island if you go looking for it, but below is a quickie summary: Koh Samui - Large and very touristy (Lamai Beach, Lamai Beach, Chaweng Beach) Koh Phangan - Haad Rin is beach party central! (Haad Rin) Koh Tao - Cheapest scuba around and nice small island Krabi/Railay - beautiful, rock climbing heaven, expensive (Railay Beach, Phi Phi Island, Ao Nang, Koh Lanta) Koh Phi Phi - gorgeous, small, expensive, great diving Koh Lanta - large, fairly quiet, Long beach is the best beach Phuket - busy, loads of package tourists and vacationers (Patong Beach, Karon Beach, Kata Beach) Koh Pu - very small and quiet, tree house bungalows Koh Chang - Nice beaches, lots of tourists from Bangkok (White Sand Beach ) |
