Continental really needs to setup a change threshold for schedule changes. Sure, I like to know when my flight schedule has changed, but only if it will impact me in a noticable way.
__________________Today, I was notified to call Continental for new flight information. It turns out on an upcoming AUS-IAH-ATL itinerary, I'm leaving one minute later and arriving four minutes earlier. I imagine that it costs several dollars per notification (both the call out and the incoming call), so it's quite a waste of money in this kind of situation. There should really be a five-minute threshold for arrivals that are earlier or departures that are later. Cheers. Daniel |

I agree with you idea of a five or so minute threshold for flight time changes, but for some reason I am happy that they call to notify me, even if it is an automated call. I have had plenty of flights on different carriers that did not call to let me know, or I found out by re-confirming for myself a couple of days out.
