Getting stuck in EWR doesn't sound like such a bad situation now that the Continental C3 terminal is open. It's such a pleasant place. Plenty of food, space, and president's clubs.

I was impressed with the new EWR C-3 terminal as well. I especially like that it had something almost no other airport has: chairs with footrests/coffee tables. In two areas at the end-corners of C-3, there are freely movable chairs with freely movable artsy geometricly shaped flat-topped wooden things that can be used either as a coffee table or foot rest. That's right, you can kick your feet up on these things, sink down in a cushiony chair, and relax with your laptop, your book, a snack, drink, friends, etc.

It will be interesting to see how long this furniture last before they are vandalized or somehow damaged and removed...dont forget to avail yourself of the complimentary magazine rack near the entrance to C-3....
