Continental Airlines Announces New Nonstop Service Between New York and San Salvador

HOUSTON, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL - news) today announced it will begin service between New York/Newark and El Salvador's largest city, San Salvador. The new flights begin May 1, 2002, and will operate Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with a 124-seat B737-700 aircraft.

Continental Express to Increase Flights, Seats Between Beaumont/Port Arthur And Houston Hub

HOUSTON, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Express today announced it will offer one additional daily flight and will operate a larger airplane on another flight between Beaumont/Port Arthur and its hub at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport beginning April 8. With the addition, Continental Express will offer seven daily roundtrip flights between the two markets.
