Continental Airlines' Newark Hub Wins Prestigious Industry Awards

HOUSTON, May 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Continental Airlines' (NYSE: CAL - News) primary terminal at Newark International Airport was honored for offering some of the best retail concessions in the industry.

The Airport Council International-North America recognized Continental's Newark hub with two top awards. Newark International Airport Terminal C won first prize for having the Best Retail/Specialty Program at a large airport. The d-parture Spa, also located in Terminal C, offering massage and salon services for busy travelers, took second place honors for Most Innovative Concession.

Well deserved from what I've heard. Then again, the real reward from retail concessions is probably not an airport council award.
