| I probably already know the answer to this, but...
How hard is it as a Plat to get EUA'd or even *upgraded* on the 6am flight from EWR-IAH on a Monday?

I haven't flown that route in a long while, so I can't tell you about my success or experiences; I'm sure that someone else here can, though.
__________________However, if you're talking about CO0111, it's kind of weird. For the one this monday, I see 6 available seats in F, but it's listed as A9 in ITN. That said, we're comfortably within the Platinum window, but it's F0, so there may be Platinums that haven't been upgraded yet. I used to fly IAH-EWR-IAH a couple times a year and would always throw 20k miles at the trip to confirm it ahead of time, even when I flew on a Saturday or something. It's really competitive (especially when serviced by a 737 or 757). It's filled with lots of revenue A pax and Golds/Plats that upgraded their Y fare at the time of purchase. |

Regarding CO111- It shows A9 D0 F0 but on the seat map there are only 5 seats left (6 if you assume that 1B is blocked out). How can that be? Is it possible they're blocking a few more seats out? |
