15,959 Total Banked Miles
15,959 Current Available Miles
51,583 Previous Year Elite Qualifying Miles
2,721 Current Year Elite Qualifying Miles

My trip to FLL on Jan 15th should boost my elite qualifying miles a bit more.

Continental is still having trouble with their new WEB site. I hope they never get this error corrected.

Elite Status Report

2003 Elite Status: Platinum
2003 Elite Mileage: 74,937
2003 Elite Segments/Points: 19

To Earn 2004 Platinum Elite Status
Elite Mileage Needed: 63

Now . . . I wonder where I should go to earn 63 more miles in 2003!

Beats me. I don't even recall leaving home.

(I do plan to travel in 2003 though.)

Although I've still got a lot of work to do, at least that's progress for me. Most of my travel this year has been on other carriers, unfortunately, so I've been missing out. I overshot Platinum in 2002 by a pretty large margin and then ended up taking a trip on the 27th - 29th of December and really wished that it could have counted towards my 2003 status.

Still posted.

Easy, Continental made a mistake . . . the year should have said 2002 (I hope they don't catch it.)

They did cheat me out of 3,801 miles though; it should have been 78,738. A flight on 10/23/02 was not posted until 01/09/03.

(Not sure whether I dare to complain or not!)

I wish northwest would make mistakes like that. Although, on my NW account it accidently credited my FLL-MEM segment as me purchasing a first-class ticket which gave me a 50% bonus TOWARDS elite status. Thank you Northwest.

On the other hand my math could be wrong but I don't think so. Take a vote . . . should I try for that last 3,801?

What tons? Only four trips in a whole year?

I'm retired and my only job is to make sure I get in 75,000 miles a year with minimum financial outlay . . . everybody needs a hobby, right?

Of course, NO. It's better if they count it as a 2003 flight!

Right, except for GUM-NRT-GUM when it's only First.

(At least the GUM-NRT-GUM upgrade is free . . . they must think that between Guam and Japan isn't international!)

Whoops, they've changed the 2003 back to 2002. Maybe somebody there monitors this Forum (Or did one of you guys rat me out)?

Now they show me 63 miles short so I guess I'll have to whimper at them until they put the 3,801 miles back into 2002 where they belong.

(Don't get me wrong, the CO people I deal with are all great.)

Hi!
I'm sorry for the posting.
Hope you are having no problem with that correction. I remember having been granted TWICE some miles in advance to the following status, when I was a going to get the Silver, and when I was trying to get the Platinum.
All I needed was to tell them what flight was missing in the posting, and after that, they were granting me the following status
