Presidents Club when not traveling

Does anyone know of airports where an airline club card will get you past security? What about American Express Platinum Card holders?

I will have some time to kill at SAT today without a ticket to get by security.

Will CO refund a refundable ticket if you're already checked in? I suspect that if I purchaed a Y ticket to get through security, they wouldn't let me enter the club if I hadn't checked in for the flight yet. Or at least think that it's weird.

I got the impression that you could get into the BOS P-Club without a ticket. I was flying out of the EWR gates and wanted to go into the P-Club(It is through a different checkpoint). They had a piece of paper that allowed me access to the P-Club.

If you buy a E-Ticket, you should be able to get through security with the receipt (Assumng the nitwit at security knows how to read), that way you don't have to ckeck in at all.
