Delta.com Earns Top Rankings in Airline Web Site Comparison
Customers Give Delta Web Site Highest Marks for Ease of Use, Content and Site Offerings

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL - news) today announced that its Web site (http://www.delta.com) ranked No. 1 in online customer approval in the Fall 2001 Airline Web Site Tracking Study conducted by leading market information provider, The NPD Group, Inc. The survey of four leading U.S. airlines reveals that delta.com received the highest overall ranking by all visitors, including business travelers, with 83 percent rating delta.com ``excellent'' or ``very good.'' Delta.com received the highest marks in several other categories including highest overall score and No. 1 in ``ease of use'' and ``offers and deals''.

``Delta.com has become an essential tool for our customers and for that reason we continue to be firmly committed to ensuring the site meets their needs,'' said Steve Scheper, Delta's managing director, eBusiness, Business-to- Consumer. ``The NPD results clearly indicate that our focus on providing comprehensive functionality and relevant communication and service offerings via delta.com are favorably perceived by our most important audience, our customers.''
