| upgrade policy change on CO. what does this mean for WRDPRKS
I recently visted continental.com and noticed this,"Effective January 1, 2003: Non-Elite OnePass members traveling on T, Q, and V fares are not eligible for mileage-deduct upgrades within or between the 48 contiguous U.S., Alaska, and Canada.". What this means is that passengers who are traveling on discounted coach tickets, and are not onepass elite members, will not be able to upgrade on domestic flights using mileage. What about elite worldperks members? will this apply to us? Will we still recieve our elite upgrades on Continental flights as well?

Just got off the phone with a NW elite line agent. She informed me that I was not allowed to upgrade my CO reservation with mileage because it was a discounted fare(Q class) because of the new rule. I told her that I thought the rule did not apply to elites. She told me that on reservations booked with CO it does, and on reservations booked with NW it doesn't. I guess that answers my questions. dbaker, nugget....want to lend me 10,000 miles? ![]() |
