Where to go?!?! HELPP!

Hi. I'm 16, and this summer I’m pretty sure I’m doing a 6 week summer exchange program. I know I want to go to Europe, but I’m not sure what country to go to. I have to have 3 choices, and these are the countries I have to choose from...

Sweden
Spain
Poland
Denmark
Brazil
Estonia
Finland
Portugal
Slovakia
Norway
Czech Rep
Germany
Italy
Romania

I know my 1st choice is going to be Italy, and I'm not sure about the 2nd or 3rd choice
I was thinking maybe Spain as a 2nd choice, then Poland or Sweden as 3rd

Can someone who has traveled to these countries give me some advice?
I'm a 16 year old girl, and I speak a little Spanish, and a little Italian (very little)
I want somewhere that I would have fun, and would give me a good experience

Thanks a lot!

Personally I'd probably pick Spain or Italy.

The two places I've always wanted to go to the most are Ireland and Japan and will be going in the near future.

Where to go

Italy, Spain and Portugal sound great to me. FYI Brazil in South America.
Another reason to go to these countries you can actually learn the language and it will be helpful to your future travels. My ex-inlaws use to live in NJ-USA and moved to Spain 20 years ago and love it. They are in Costa Del Sol area.
Have a great trip. I did one of this kinds of trips when I was in high school to France and it was great first trip without my parents.

That is one place that I would like to see. Just kinda started thinking I wanted to do that the last 5 years or so. My list of places to see someday grows.

Well if money is no object and you have the time I would choose 3 totally different places. I have been to several of these places when I was younger and in the military.

I would probably choose Portugal, Romania and Norway. These three countries are far apart and offer different cultural and ethnic views.

If money is a factor then it is easier to do Portugal, Spain and possible a short visit to France using cheap rail and bus travel.

You are lucky that your parents will let you leave home at such a young age. Lots of opportunity to get into big time trouble and have an exciting vacation. Lucky boy!

my suggestion is Spain
There is an island named"Maluekaa' in the east of Spain. there is a famous “mysterious cavern” on this island,it was found by a German artist by accident. The strange stones in the hole were looked like the dragon of the chinese legendary.
The hole is not gloomy at all.It will take 35-40 minutes to travel the whole dragon hole. When I just came into the hole, the cold air raided to me at once. Stelae on the top of the hole looked like a wolf’s tooth, lots of strange stones , all of these fear me a lot. This cavern has at least 80 to 100 thousand years history. We went ahead and followed the guide who was explaining the supernatural story about the hole.
After that we arrived at a natural “ conference room”, it is a 200 square meters big stone table , the guide told us that it was formed by nature and unparalleled on the earth , we were very surprised to it . beside it is a creek, the guide told us that we were under the sea level about 80 meters depth at there.
The creek named "the river in the sea", we took a boat went along in the rivers. The Romantic Spanish put some candles on the edge of the boat, when the candles were lighted, all the boats were arranged to a stright line, the scenery is so beautiful that everybody forgot that eeriness when they came into the hole.
With the increasing of the visitors, more and more people found that the scenery of the hole just like the dragon of the chinese legendary. So the hole is called as " dragon hole" now. In Nowadays, the dragon hole has become the most famous sight of Malueka Island, it attracts many visitors. To protect the hole, the local government carry out a rule which just allow 500 visitors come into the hole to visit everyday .So if you want to visit the dragon hole you should arrived there on the morning.

Smile Where to go?!?! HELPP!

Cayden-

Sounds exciting! We just returned from Spain, France, Italy last month. I have traveled other areas of Europe as well, but I think that Italy is the most beautiful you'll find! Knowing some of the language is MOST helpful! Immerse yourself and you'll learn a LOT over the summer! My second choice on your list would be Spain. Barcelona is a great place! Hopefully you can do some short travels from wherever you are! Germany is wonderful--the Munich area is my favorite. I believe that the German language could present a big challenge since you've not studied it at all. Let me know where you decide! This is a GREAT opportunity for you! My husband attended college in Munich in a study-abroad program many years ago. We still go back and visit friends! You can read some of my travel blogs at www.shipsandtripsonline.com. Best of luck! Diana
