| Advice needed with plane tickets.....
Hi,
__________________I'm new to travelling, only been on a plane once before and that was all arranged for me, but I'm looking to go from London to Canada, preferably Edmonton (YEG), during the first week of September and come back about 20th. I've got to keep the cost down as much as possible because I've got to do it again a few weeks later and can't really afford two expensive tickets. Just wondering if anyone knows of how cheap this could be done for (and how), the lowest I've found so far is about £650 per return, is this cheap or is that about normal? Also, how much can you save by going for standby flights, and how long do you think I would have to wait at that time of year? Thanks for any help, UwaSP |

hi there: I would suggest flying to Toronto through a consolidator, and then on a discount airline from Toronto to Edmonton. Consolidators have the cheapest flights, and if you can try ask to get a flight on Air Transat. Air Transat is cheap, but you are packed into the plane. After that, I would suggest flying on one of the discount airlines that fly to Edmonton. Those would be: Air Canada's Tango WestJet Good luck! |
