Bed Bugs/Bed Mites

I will be traveling in a couple of months and due a bad experience at a hotel with bed mites the last time I am trying to find a spray, powder or whatever that I can purchase in a local store to have with me next time just in case it is needed. Besides it is better to be safe then sorry. I live in Southern California.

So your help would be greatly appreciated.
