| Been anywhere amazing?
I am travelling to Ireland at the end of November with a friend, we are both 24yr old Australian women.
__________________The plan at the moment is to hire a car in Northern Ireland and then drive to Ireland and around the country for a week. Obviously there is way too much for us to see and do in a week so I was hoping someone who has been there before could recommend a few particular spots? We are going to be staying in hostels it would be good to know any particularly fun and lively ones. Thanks |

Definitely see Newgrange (Bru na Boinne) and Glendalough on the Dublin side. If you like museums and will be in Dublin, I liked the Irish National Museum. Also enjoyed the village of Adare on the Shannon side. Have a great time!

Got back from Ireland at the end of August. Spent around 12 days there, it was fab, expensive but fab. Had 4 days in Dublin before driving down to Killkarney in county Kerry in the South West then back to Dublin for the last few nights. Great fun but you'll need deep pockets. Have fun ![]() |
