Does anyone have any idea when the DOT is going to give the CO,DL,NW codeshare agreement an ok? The contract was submitted in August and i have been waiting forever.

I suspect that they will never give it an OK.

The realities of having three major US carriers with codeshare agreements. The government will see this as anticomptetitive almost as a mini merger of the three companies. That is why. Even if the intentions are not there. That is how it will be viewed.

so when will reject or accept it? I think the codeshare agreement would benefit the customer and would boost sales for all airlines. NW and CO are very competetive in every market i fly and it's good that i have a choice because sometimes one is lower than the other and i'm not restricted to flying one airline to earn FF miles.
