| Do US airports check for outstanding warrants?
Okay, I have a -ahem- friend who wants to fly locally to another state in the US, but he has a couple outstanding warrants. Do local criminal backgrounds/warrants get checked before we fly? It's not anything serious, but he'd hate to get hauled off to jail after waiting 3 hours in line just to go to Disney. PM if you know, not just speculation.

If he is a flight risk, I'm sure the Gov has ways to blacklist him/her

Well, uhm, from my experience as a former police officer....No, they do not formally check backgrounds or warrants....there are just too many ppl in the airports to check everyone everyday. Now if that uhm, friends becomes too nervous and attracts attention to themselves they may be subject to random checks!! Ever watch kangaroo jack? They are just too busy to check..unless you call attention to yourself!
