Florida Vacations, overwhelmed with info

Hi there,
I am really glad i found this site. I am searching for my parents...- hotels, flights, packaged deals, and I am very over whelmed. Where do i start?
Everything I have found is very nice, but they really don't have a need for a kitchen, dining and living room. They would rather eat out and spend time there just for rest.
I cannot find such a place, perhaps someone can provide me with better searching tips?
in other words, I do not know what to search for in that little tab, all that i am saying here ;D
They are also searching for a place right on the beaches, so thats another factor to add to the search =x
I have never done this before, so I hope I am not asking too much...
just some resources, maybe being pointed to the right direction from someone with experience..
We appreciate any advice or info, and thx for such a great site (its the members ;D)

Hi Joe...yea it sure can be overwhelming! So would they want more like a hotel? What part of Florida are they going to? Another idea is once you have all their details of what they want...post that request in your title in a few travel forums:

Like:

Beachfront hotel package wanted in X, Florida..ideas?
Beachfront studio wanted for one week in March in X, Florida

If you provide just a little more info I might be able to point you closer.

One of my favorite sites when I am looking for a starting point is http://www.tripadvisor.com/ Pick a state & a city - they will give you lots of info, and lots of reviews.

Also for places to stay, sometimes you can get better deals by privately owned rental property. http://www.vrbo.com is a great site for this. We found a really nice place to stay in Hawaii at a much lower price than the hotel chains.
