Hello all, from GTV Radience of the Seas, currently sailing just off the Alaskan coast, between the Hubbard Glacier and Ketchican (probably somewhere offshore of Skagway or Jeaneau). It's not as nice of a boat as the Golden/Star Princess boats, but its still pretty nice.

It must just be me... I can't imagine enjoying myself on a cruise. I'm sure I'd be bored and restless by the end of the first day. To me, it sounds like taking a vacation to a nice spot and then never leaving the hotel for a week.

You're in a new port (nearly) every day, from about 8am to 4pm or noon to 8pm, and even on the ship itsself there are (usually, depends on line) multiple shows/comedians/etc every night, bars/pubs, a nightclub, etc. If you like to spend more than a day exploring a city, than no, its probably not for you (rarely are port stays more than 24 hours), but I think they're a lot of fun, espically if you go with friends. Maybe try a little 3 or 4 day one to the east side of Mexico? |
