Highlights in Vietnam

Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam. The city is pleasant, charming and tranquil with pleasant lakes, public parks, tree-lined boulevards, bustling markets, and the well preserved narrow streets of Old Quarter, and the contrasting modern sky scrapers and swarms of motorcycles.

Hanoi's Old Quarter has over 1000 years of history and is a maze of narrow streets and alleys each with narrow fronted houses and shops. Here you can buy Handy crafts, silk, pottery, herbal medicines, traditional musical instruments and a selection of other items.

To the west of Hoan Kiem is Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum which and not far from this is the beautifully restored Presidential Palace.

Halong Bay
Magnificent Halong Bay is made up of 3000 islands of various sizes, 989 of which have been given names. The clear, emerald waters of the bay are one of Vietnam's natural marvels and have been named an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) is the heart and soul of Vietnam This is the largest city in Vietnam and the business centre of the country.
