Madrid apartments?

A group of friends is setting out for a week of sightseeing in Spain and prefer to stay in Madrid apartments. Do you have any personal knowledge of apartments strategically located near Madrid’s places of interests? They are looking for a modest apartment in the city, hopefully you can help us find the perfect home to stay for a week.
