Smile My first trip to Japan!

Last year I visited Japan for 2 weeks. I have to say that I spent there the best holidays of my life. Japan is a wonderful country, it's a mix of old (temples, gardens) and modern (Japan has developed so many brands such as sony, canon, toyota, toshiba that today are well known all around the world). That's very worth to visit it. I stayed in Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. During my traveling I had the possibility to see many Buddhist temples. The most beautifull temple I saw was the one in Kyoto: the kiyomizudera temple. That's absolutly fantastic!

Now thats motivating enough for me to visit Japan, a place which I always wanted to visit. But you have not covered the details like the expenses and the lodging etc. Before setting out to any place I think we need to collect info on these to avoid problems. As you have shared your precious time with us depicting about the places of interest in Japan please devote some time more and tell us about the aforesaid details. If the budget seems to be in my acceptable limits I would hesitate no further and set out for Japan this year itself.

Kyoto is a good place ,it was build follow Chinese building,Kyoto was the capital of Japan and the residence of the Emperor from 794 until the Meiji Restoration of 1868, when the capital was moved to Tokyo. During its millennium at the center of Japanese power, culture, tradition, and religion, it accumulated an unparalleled collection of palaces, temples and shrines, built for emperors, shoguns, and monks. Almost alone among Japanese cities, Kyoto escaped the Allied bombings of World War II, although it could be argued that the concrete redevelopment that turned city centre of Kyoto into an ordinary metropolis did just as thorough a job.

My first international trip also included Osaka. I stayed at the Hyatt...WOW!!! Very nice view of the city. Awesome intro into the Far East. I also took a train ride to Kyoto which is in between Tokyo and Osaka and visited all the temples. That was something I would really recommend.
Enjoy!!!!!!!!!

Because of the current high value of the yen, Japan may not seem such a cheap destination anymore.

But it's still very much worth it! Japan is such a great place to visit. Those taking their first visit to Japan will be pleasantly surprised by the safe and clean cities, polite and helpful people, great food, and just how different Japan is in a positive way from Western countries.
