Parking garage at IAH ready yet?

Last time I was picking up someone at IAH was last May, 2002, and back then, the international arrivals terminal (I think that's D) didn't have their new parking garage ready. We officially had to park miles away on some crappy parking lot and then take a shuttle. I soon found it's easier to just park in the garages for A and B and take the underground train.

Anyway, is the parking garage finished now? What are other people's experiences with parking at IAH's intl. arrivals terminal?

I think that you're still going to have to park at C. As of January (last time I flew internationally out of Houston from IAH), the D parking was still unavailable.

Look forward to the new terminal E!

It seems that the old D parking is never going to be restored, since they're build a Federal Inspection Services building there.

I wonder if this offsite thing (see http://www.houstonairportsystem.org/images/Dpark500.jpg) is permanent. Surely they cannot expect to house all D (and soon enough E) passengers to park a) surface and b) remote.
