Pattaya, Bangkok and destinations around these places are supposed to be most crowdie tourist destinations of Thailand. And truly these are. Once you plan to enjoy nightlife in Pattaya, you mind will think around Lifestyle and luxury. Walking streets, Open beer bars, Cabaret shows, Muay Thai boxing and Night clubs are crucial things I love to do when enjoying nightlife of Pattaya. Here is a mini guide to Pattaya nightlife.

Pattaya does have a beach - but most Western tourists do not swim at that beach! The water is not clean enough! There are better beaches in Thailand! For serious water sports and diving other beach areas will be better.

Pattaya is easy to get to from Bangkok by bus or taxi. About 2 hours by bus from Bangkok. Hotels are cheaper than Bangkok. There are good restaurants, modern malls and cheap local transportation. Although the beach is no good for swimming Pattaya Beach is okay for sunbathing, malls, street vendors, bars and restaurants. Many couples with children visit each year, some are repeat visitors.

Besides nightlife and shopping there are many other tourist sites to visit in this area. A quick Google search will give you many choices. Ex. Nong Nooch, Flight of the Gibbon, Koh Larn, Go Carts, Sanctuary of Truth, Million Year Stone Park, etc.

For all beach areas always do a search for scams to avoid concerning renting jet skis.
