Places to visit in Dalian within 1.5 days

I will be visiting Dalian in September 2009 for a work meeting, and will have about 1.5 days of free time for sightseeing.

Can anyone recommend the major attractions in Dalian to visit within 1.5 days?

Not much to see and do in Dalian, but feel it. It probably is one of the cleanest cities in China, modeled from where your from.
Lvshun is about more than an hour's ride. very historical if you know about the Sino-Russo conflict in northern China. Along the way there are quaint villages that's worth a shoot, getting jiggy with the locals.
Try to visit the CBD area, its well laid out with a huge bayfront.
and dont forget to sample the sushi!
