What is the cheap way to travel canada rocky mountain?

I live in boston. I am travel to rocky mountain. I only can find tours , which cost me a lot of money, as i am travel alone. if anyone want to travel with me, Please put hand up. i get used to backpacking traveling. I wondering if canada offers these kind of travel

you can travel thru the Rockies by Greyhound bus... The train is really beautiful, but alot more expensive..If youre used to backpacking, Im sure the Taxi is better choice.
