Where to start?

We are a family with 2 kids (7 and 14) and would like to visit Norway in June/July for a week or may be a litle bit longer term (up to 10 days). We would prefer to rent a cabin or a cottage and to use a rental car. At a maximum, there may be two bases. Where would you advice to rent the accommodation in order to plan various day trips without too much driving? We come and leave from Oslo. Thank a lot for your help!

Norway offers quite a wide range of possibilities (in June/July you might even be there for the annual 2-3 days of nice weather, so if you specify what you want to do, see and experience, I'm sure we can think of some good suggestions!

Thanks to share your informative question in my opinion you most rent a car and enjoy the drive and see all part of Norway places town and most wanted places because you don’t have much like you said 10 days that why I recommend you rent a car.

Norway in summer has amazing weather you will love it. If you want stay in one specific place then go for bikes best way to see the nature.
