Who have you run into?

The possibility of running into a celeb is pretty high when traveling. Any ITYTers have an exciting run-in while flying the friendly skies?

I sat next to Ken Lay (yes, him) on a SFO-IAH dinner flight about a year and a half ago. I wish that I had gotten his business card so that I could frame it or something now.

I sat behind Leonardo Dicaprio on a quick SJC-LAS flight about a year ago and I recently sat next to some actress girl (I recognized her, but can't come up with a name -- yet) on a HNL-IAH red-eye.

No real incidents, unfortunately. I've heard fun storis about things like Sylvester Stallone raising hell on a BA LHR-IAH flight because the gate agents wouldn't ugprade his two kids from business to F, but yet to witness anything in person.

Sat next to Dennis Johnson the Basketball player a few years ago, when he was coaching for the Celtics. TOTAL A***OLE.

Sat next to Neil O'Donnell the last time the Super Bowl was in Miami. What a GREAT Guy.

That's all I can remember, I am usually oblivious to my seatmates.

I met They Might Be Giants while waiting in line for customs in LAX. We were talking for a while, and I knew they were in a band, but I didn't find out which band until just before it was my turn. If I had been more on the ball, I might have asked for an autograph or something.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Continental JAX-IAH. She was 3B, I was 2B.

I got a smile. She had the pasta. Uneventful flight.
