| Nissan Z
Has anyone seen the new Nissan 350Z yet? Those ads really look cool, and I am so happy that Nissan finally brought the Z back after is hiatus. The “track” version looks very tempting.

It'd be great if more were available here, but I don't think that Nissan had a great track (no pun intended) record as far as quality goes in the US.

That's the only thing that's keeping me from the 350Z. It looks incredibly good (both appearance and stats) and the price is really attractive. |

I still like the old 300zx cars, but will admit that the new Z looks great, but I'd like to get behind the wheel of one. The dealers around here can't get them in fast enough, apparently. Might have to put one of those on the birthday list... -jw |

Heh, I clicked on the Nissan link in the first post, and immediately thought "Eclipse!". That's just the front fender speaking, obviously the rest of it is different. It looks vaguely Porsche/AudiTT-like from the side. Looks like fun. Anybody find out what the curb weight is? |

Yeah, 3200 pounds is kind of hefty. With all their talk about aluminum on the nissan web site, you'd think they would have been able to shave that down a bit. But then again, my problem is I compare everything to the NSX. ![]() |
