I started using the CO "self-service" machines when they first rolled 'em out, and now that NW uses them as well, it makes things go faster. There's been a lot of grumbling that CO is now forcing customers to use them, so don't be surprised if DL follows...

I prefer the airline ticket stock for boarding passes over the paper that the e>service machines print out. It doesn't fade and doesn't crumple.

Additionally, the ticket agents can check in a passenger faster if there's no line.

I've never used the Delta kiosks, but I suspect that they share the same issues since they look identical to the Continental/Northwest ones and, I believe, are made by the same kiosk manufactuer.

If they could resolve thoes two issues, I'd use the e>service machines without a single complaint.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:26 PM.
