Mesaba Airlines, Pilots' Union Request Mediation Quote:
Mesaba Airlines and its pilots have asked the National Mediation Board to help them reach a new contract agreement.
The request was made Tuesday after the pilots rejected the company's offer of final and binding arbitration on the parties' best offers.
About 960 pilots work for Minneapolis-based Mesaba, which operates as a Northwest Airlink affiliate.
